My Campaign Trail

My campaign trail is blazing! I worked as a PR in Ibiza last summer (convincing people that Cafe Mambo has the best DJs, the coolest cocktails and the best view at sunset - it does!) From that I know that a friendly smile can make all the difference to winning people over. I wowed (and in some cases, confused!) the crowds at the SATC2 premiere in my 'Supersam' costume. My initial manifesto promised I'd bring a flavour of the beach to the streets. Now I've been meeting and greeting commuters in my work clothes (if I win!) and what more appropriate for a travel reviewer than a bikini? I'm bringing smiles and sunshine to the city and showing that I'm a fun, fearless, female who deserves your vote! I'm also giving people a chance to join me on one of the holidays if they join my Facebook group 'The Adventures of Supersam' and can think up ingenious ways to get people voting for Sam! So if you'd like to join me and my bikini on holiday join my group and remember to vote!

My manifesto

Why vote for me as the face of lowcostholidays.com? Because I’ll take you on the trip of a lifetime! I’m smiley, chatty, positive and enthusiastic. My reviews will be the first thing you look at in the morning and will brighten even the greyest of days. My videos will bring each one of the 12 destinations alive and you’ll feel your feet sinking into the sand every step of the way! I love holidays (don’t we all?!) but I enjoy travelling whether it’s £5 a night or 5 star luxury. Last year I shared a cruise ship cabin with my 85 year old Nan and danced until dawn in Ibiza. My motto is ‘I’ll try anything twice’. If you are over 18 I want you to join my crack team of ‘Sambassadors’, thinking outside the box about how to promote me in ways that will be headline grabbing! Join my facebook group 'The Adventures of Supersam’ and post your pictures, videos, stories and ideas. The person who comes up with the idea that I think is the most original and gets people voting will be chosen to join me on one of my amazing adventures! • Roxy Stuart Roxy describes herself as resilient, chatty, loveable, inquisitive, deep, courageous, ambitious, critical, and dependable. If she was an animal she would be a dolphin, for two reasons; they get to experience the world from a totally different perspective and they are the only mammals who mate for pleasure! Her best experience was falling in love at first sight....yes it does happen.
• Sue Mellor Sue describes herself as a Yorkshire lass turned Essex Girl with a unique personality. She has a keen sense of adventure which has put her into some interesting situations over the years. Only cunning, quick wit and perseverance has got her through. It would be a dream come true for Sue to be a travel reviewer for lowcostholidays.com.
• Christina Leon Christina is a 24 year old from the West coast of Scotland. In her free time she goes social networking mad! She loves learning languages and is currently learning Japanese. She enjoys modelling, singing and dancing, performing on stage but most importantly she loves holidays!
• Danny Steele Being a middle child of 1970's, Kent didn't give Danny obvious grounding in presenting programmes, however it was his role of one of the Shepherds at a Nativity play that gave him his first taste of the performing bug. Fast forward a few years and he is now living in London and is a presenter and stand up comedian.
• Lee Blake Lee Blake comes from a leisure and tourism background, having worked in places such as Chessington World of Adventures, Madame Tussauds and even lived and worked in Gran Canaria for a year. He currently works full time in a call centre in Surrey and wants to get out and top up his tan!
• Sam Simmons Sam believes in making her own luck and seizing every opportunity life brings. She has had a variety of creative jobs working in advertising, animation and television. She now lives with her friends in London working on the other side of the camera modelling, doing voiceovers and presenting.
• Lauren Stott Lauren describes herself as a happy-go-lucky kind of girl, the wrong side of 25, torn between settling down and finding a ‘proper’ job or following her travel dreams and jumping on the next plane. She is a born explorer, who once, with childhood naivety and optimism, tried to dig to Australia in the garden.
• Sarah Clapham Sarah is 29 years old, shortly to be celebrating turning 30 this summer. She was born and bred in Gtr Manchester. The furthest she had been on holiday as a child was to Cornwall where she got as far as Land's End but when she was 18 she decided to take her first trip overseas to Corfu. Sarah feels more at home when overseas than she does in her own home town!
• Steve Henson Steve is 56 and attended the University of Life and gained a decree Nisi. He enjoys a staple diet of humour, is conscientious and has a good circle of friends to call on for advice and guidance. He has worked overseas before and respects that his actions when he is away is a reflection on his employers.
• Duncan Nagle Duncan was an average child, exhibiting few skills other than “being really good at Street Fighter 2”, and left school with A-Levels in French, Latin and Classical Civilization. Neither gaming nor knowledge of dead people helped Duncan in his early retail career. Duncan now lives in the Wild West Midlands with his wife and three cats.
